An exciting opportunity exists for a Welder to join our Atchison, Kansas location.
The Welder role is to support plant production within the Cleaning department.
SHIFT:
1st Shift PAY:
$24.
97 - $27.
13 Purpose Statement:
A cleaning welder will perform various production functions using various welding processes, air carbon arcing, cutting torch functions and operating various grinders.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Ability to work with limited direct supervision Ability to work independently or in a team environment Good written and verbal communication skills Must Pass practical welding tests Key Selection Criteria:
High School Diploma/GED Ability to follow job safety analysis and work instructions Ability to use all required personal protective equipment Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods of time Preferred Qualities:
1-2 years welding experience preferred Knowledge of and ability to operate various grinders electric and pneumatic preferred Operation and usage of cutting torch preferred Operation and usage of Carbon Arc (Arc Air) for removal of defects and dressing preferred Operation of bridge cranes preferred Why join our team at Bradken?
