Job Description:
As an Emergency department RN at Amberwell Atchison, you will deliver exceptional patient care alongside a team of dedicated healthcare professionalsTo be successful, you will be committed to exceptional patient care and positive patient experiences, be always safety aware, and adhere to the high cultural standards of Amberwell Health.Responsibilities of the Emergency Care RN include but are not limited to:
Triage patients quickly and accurately, assessing and prioritizing needsWork collaboratively with doctors, Advanced Practice Providers and other healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient careCommunicate effectively, with all members/departments of the healthcare teamProvide evidenced based care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing processPerform ordered diagnostic testingAdminister medications as orderedEvaluate patient response to intervention/therapy based upon expected outcomes.Manage multiple patients simultaneously, prioritizing patient needs continuallyDelegate tasks appropriatelyMaintain accurate and timely patient documentationProvide discharge and follow up education, and instructions to patientsComply with all legal and safety requirements at all timesAttend all required training and continuing educationProvide excellent customer service at all timesABOUT AMBERWELL HEALTH:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, must have within 90 days of hirePreferred Certifications:
