7K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The Lab Technician will assist the Instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students.
To accomplish these tasks, the Lab Technician works closely with the staff and administration of the Technical Center.
When not in class, the Lab Assistant will assist with daily disinfecting/cleaning per CDC guidelines and as directed by the Vice President of Technical Education so that the minimum 40-hour work week is met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
1.
Prepare for classroom activities under the supervision of the Instructor.
2.
Assist individual students with assigned work.
3.
Guide independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work set up by the Instructor.
4.
Set up Lab equipment.
5.
Observe and monitor Lab work.
6.
Assist with the supervision and education of students as requested by Instructor 7.
Assist students and staff in the efficient and productive use of time.
8.
Maintain an accurate schedule of class work, data collection, and daily assignments for students.
9.
Establish a positive relationship with students.
10.
Effectively present and monitor the instructional tasks for the student as demonstrated by the Instructor.
11.
Assist in preparing instructional materials and modifying tests and assignments.
12.
Provide objective feedback to the teacher on student progress.
13.
Assist in ensuring that all classroom activities conform to Center guidelines and safety regulations/policies.
14.
Operate office equipment and perform clerical duties as requested by Instructor 15.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of student and school related issues.
16.
Perform disinfecting/cleaning per CDC guidelines.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prefer Associates or Diploma in Computer Support Technology.
Familiarity with and ability to operate classroom equipment.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
